Los Angeles, CA – eyecandylab releases a new market research on the consumer adoption of video-triggered augmented reality at Telcomcouncil TC3 2019. It provides a realistic outlook on the potential U.S. market of augmented reality around video and and provides profound answers to these questions:

  • Are consumers willing to shop through video-triggered AR?
  • How does video-triggered AR improve existing business models?

The study was conducted in September 2019 in the United States as a collaborative research project between eyecandylab and the XR scholars Prof. Dr. Philipp A. Rauschnabel and Katrin Brunner from the Bundeswehr University Munich (Germany), and U.S. market research institute Dynata. More than 1,000, randomly chosen U.S. consumers were participating.
